The Culture House Presents: Anchorsong + Guests

Originally from Tokyo and now based in London, Anchorsong has become globally recognised for his unique live shows that see him creating electronic music completely live using a sampler and a keyboard, right in front of the audience. This spell-binding show has seen him take to the stage at famed festivals including Glastonbury, Wilderness, Outlook Croatia and SonarSound Tokyo.

Signed to Tru Thoughts records in the UK and with his album Ceremonial selected as a BBC 6 Music Album of the Year, Anchorsong promises an exciting night of live musical experimentation spanning multiple genres, including 70’s African, traditional Indian percussion and electronic dance, creating a free-spirited experience that blurring the boundary between rhythm and melody.

Alongside Anchorsong, The Culture House presents Leafcutter John - a truly interesting sound artist who combines his field recordings of the Norfolk coastline, with a unique home-made light controlled musical interface, making for a highly original and engaging live show.

THIS EVENT IS FREE ENTRY but free tickets to be booked in advance here.
